This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method and the theory of patriarchal culture and gender injustice in patriarchal culture initiated by Retno Wulandari and Mansour Fakih. The research results show that there is private patriarchy in the character Tom which shows his power and dominance over women. women in the domestic and public spheres, namely Anna as his wife, Rachel as his ex-wife, and Meghan as his mistress. The power and dominance that Tom shows are how he becomes very temperamental and acts harshly as a result of the inappropriate conditions that Tom faces, namely that the women in his life want rights and rebel. One example of physical violence he commits is hitting women and an example of non-physical violence is verbal violence, so all this violence causes women to have trauma. This private patriarchy also gives rise to gender injustice in the form of physical violence committed by the character Tom.</p> Muhamad Fazar Firmansyah Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-01-09 2025-01-09 8 15 Personal Selling Communication Study of Uncal Enterprise Service Bus Using Elaboration Likelihood Model https://jlsb-fisib.unpak.ac.id/index.php/JLSB/article/view/23 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>In the current era of Industry 4.0, the appropriate use of integration systems is highly demanded in the field of information technology to assist companies. Most ESB products used in many Indonesian companies are foreign products that have been widely used and recognized in many countries. These foreign products have become the mainstay and trusted in the international market and have a strong brand image. However, UNCAL ESB has faced persuasive challenges in the domestic market due to doubts about domestic products and a relatively weaker brand image. This research aims to analyze persuasive messages in UNCAL ESB personal selling using the Elaboration Likelihood Model and identify persuasive barriers that need to be addressed. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with qualitative data research type. The novelty of this research indicates that the informants process messages through the central route because they carefully evaluate arguments, evidence, and relevant information to form attitudes by giving positive assessments. The author found obstacles in the form of a weak brand image, and a lack of understanding or trust in technology, as well as difficulties in matching technology with needs.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> Maya Siti Hindun Dwi Rini Sovia Firdaus Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-12-31 2024-12-31 16 25 The Influence of Technology on the Social Behavior of Main Characters in the Novel Ready Player One by Ernest Cline https://jlsb-fisib.unpak.ac.id/index.php/JLSB/article/view/25 <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>This thesis is an analysis of Ernest Cline's novel Ready Player One.
